Many people have dreamt of being a travel journalist, of discovering unknown places, of writing about far off countries, peoples, traditions and secrets. And then of coming home and writing articles that everyone will read. Wouldn’t that be lovely? Unfortunately, that profession hardly exists anymore. Today, there are many other channels through which people can read our work, as long as we write well! While there are only a few newspapers that accept travel articles, there are many online magazines, blog sites and social network sites where you can publish your work. And, if you feel up to it, you could write books. However, we must adapt our material to suit the medium. Even photo albums on Facebook can make a nice reportage, if we use original images, brief texts and pay attention to detail. In all types of publications, regardless of size, if the writing is good, the readers will appreciate it.
